Women’s Rights Training teaches about women’s human rights through workshops which include the following topics:

Human Rights – United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Convention on the Elimination of All forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), and United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security.

Gender issues - gender roles, gender socialization, socialization agents and gender stereotypes.

Gender-based violence – social myths regarding gender-based violence, identifying perpetrators and victims of this type of violence, domestic violence, reasons why women stay in violent circumstances and relationships, trafficking of women, preventive methods, resources.

Reproductive rights and health – lessons are done in an interactive way through film viewing, discussions and activities. A certificate of completion is given to all participants at the end of these sessions.
