My Body, My Right
"My Body, my Right" is a sexual education program for young women. The group meets for two hours a week for 10 weeks. The women sit in a circle and light candles in order to create a warm and comfortable environment in which to discuss sexuality. Discussions are supplemented by interactive exercises and activities. Covered topics include anatomy and physiology of sexual organs, hygiene, psychological aspects of sexual relationships, intimacy between partners, orgasm, sexual acts and other issues.
Besides these closed-group sessions, the program also publishes a monthly newsletter titled "Let's Talk About Sex." Each publication is dedicated to a specific topic regarding sexuality and sexual health. The newsletter has a "Question and Answer" section where personal questions are answered and individual issues addressed.
The My Body, My Right program also occasionally organizes roundtable discussions on other issues related to sexual and reproductive rights.
