2012: We are open!

The women's resource center is already open for the new year. Our working hours are: Mondays to Saturdays from 10a.m to 8p.m, except on Wednesdays we are open from 10a.m. to 5p.m. There are several programs prepared for this year:

• Women's Human Rights Seminars- the training includes themes on women's rights, gender, feminism, violence, trafficking, reproductive health and right.
• Free legal aid for women and girls - on violence, family issues, property, job and other. The service is available on Mondays and Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Legal help-line: 010- 54-24-62.
• My body -my right. Discussion series on women's sexuality and health. The training course is available for women and girls /18-30/. It is a closed group and participants need to register first.
• Girls talk - program provides a safe space for adolescent girls /13-16/ to connect with each other and to learn about depression and its contributing factors. Young women will develop self-awareness, coping strategies and critical thinking skills through artistic and recreational activities.
• Art courses
• Photography courses
• Foreign language courses
• Computer courses

The Sexual Assault Crisis Center(SACC) offers peer-counseling courses for new volunteers. The project is available only for persons with a background in psychology. The program includes topics on gender based violence, sexual violence and counseling skills.
